Abstract:
In this talk, we will discuss the symmetry induced by concentration for some elliptic problems such as the prescribed scalar curvature problem in $R^N$. These symmetry results can not beproved by the methods of moving plane. Instead, they are obtained from the local uniqueness of bubbling solutions.
严树森教授个人简介：
1982年-1987年在华南理工大学获得学士和硕士学位,1990年博士毕业于中国科学院,之后在华南理工大学工作,1995年破格晋升为教授。目前在澳大利亚新英格兰大学任教授。 主要从事非线性偏微分方程的研究。 发表学术论文 90多篇，大多数发表在如Comm. Pure Appl. Math、 Adv. Math., Math. Ann.、 Archive forRational Mechanics and Analysis、Proc. Lond. Math. Soc.、Comm. Math. Phys.、Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、J. Funct. Anal.、J. Math. Pures Appl.、SIAM J. Math. Anal.、Comm. PDE、Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations等国际权威数学期刊上，论文得到包括世界著名数学家等的高度评价和大量引用。
