报告题目:The finite difference method for Caputo-type parabolic equation withfractional Laplacian

报告摘要:

In this talk, we present the finite difference method for Caputo-type parabolic equation with fractional Laplacian, where the time derivative is in the sense of Caputo with order in (0, 1) and the spatial derivative in the typical fractional Laplacian. The stability, convergence, and error estimate are displayed. And illustrative example is also provided which supports the theoretical analysis.

报告人简介:

Changpin Li is full professor of Shanghai University. His present research interests include: numerical methods and scientific computations of fractional partial differential equations, dynamics of fractional differential equations. He is on the editorial board of several journals such as Fractional Calculus and Applied Analysis, Int J Bifurcation Chaos, and Int J Comput Math, etc. And he is the editor-in-chief of book series “Fractional Calculus in Applied Sciences and Engineering” in De Gruyter, Germany. He has published more than 100 papers in referred journals with more than 3000 citations. He has edited one book and published one book which have been published in World Scientific and CRC Press, respectively. He was awarded the Shanghai Natural Science Prize in 2010, Bao Steel Prize in 2011, Riemann-Liouville Award: Best FDA Paper (theory) in FDA’12 in 2012, and Scientific Chinese “Person of the Year 2015” in 2016.
