报告题目:Legendre spectral and spectral element method for mixed inhomogeneous boundary value problems in three dimensions

报告摘要:

In this talk,we investigate Legendre spectral and spectral element method for mixed inhomogeneous boundary value problems in three dimensions. Some results on three dimensional Legendre orthogonal and quasi-orthogonal approximation in certain Jacobi weighted Sobolev spaces are established, which play important roles in numerical solutions of partial differential equations in three dimensions. As examples of applications, spectral and spectral element scheme are provided for a model problem,with the global spectral accuracy. Efficient numerical implementations are described. Numerical results demonstrate the high efficiency of suggested algorithms.
